For journeys you make every week

If you travel the same route regularly, turn on Repeat every week and choose your days. CarYatri publishes the ride on those days, seven days in advance, until you turn it off. Regular passengers can find and book your seats each week.

  • Set up once. The route, time, seats and price stay the same on each day you choose.
  • Continues until you stop it. There is no need to publish the ride again each week.
  • Flexible. Skip a date or a week, edit the ride, or pause and resume it at any time from Recurring rides.

    What CarYatri offers

    Designed for daily commutes as well as longer journeys between cities.

    Search by city

    Enter your departure city, destination, date and number of seats to see matching rides, with each driver's rating and the price per seat.

    Add stop cities

    Drivers can add cities along their route, so passengers travelling from or to those cities can also find and book the ride.

    Choose your route

    Compare alternative routes on the map by distance and travel time, and publish the one you plan to take.

    Weekly repeat rides

    Publish a ride once and have it repeat on the same days each week until you choose to stop.

    Return journey

    Add the return trip while publishing your ride. The app suggests a departure time based on your arrival.

    Instant or approved booking

    Allow passengers to book instantly, or review each request and the passenger's profile before accepting.

    UPI QR payments

    Drivers add their UPI QR code to their profile, and passengers pay their share directly from their own UPI app.

    Timely notifications

    Receive updates when a seat is requested, booked, accepted or cancelled, and when you receive a new message.

    Chat, call or WhatsApp

    Once a booking is confirmed, you can agree on the pickup point through in-app chat, a phone call or WhatsApp.

    Verified profiles

    Members can verify their email, mobile number and ID. Verified profiles display a badge visible to others.

    Ratings & reviews

    Drivers and passengers can rate each other after a ride, helping others travel with confidence.

    Shared travel costs

    The cost of fuel and tolls is shared by everyone travelling, which is often more economical than travelling alone.

    Publish your journey

    Add your pickup and drop-off points, any stop cities, the departure time, available seats and price per seat.

    Repeat if needed

    For a regular journey, turn on weekly repeat and select your days.

    Travel together

    Confirm passengers, agree on the pickup point, and receive payment through your UPI QR code.

    Yes. Downloading the app, creating a profile, searching for rides and publishing rides are free. Passengers pay only the price per seat set by the driver.

    When publishing a ride, turn on "Repeat every week" and select your days. CarYatri publishes the ride on those days each week, seven days before each date, until you turn it off. You can skip a date or week, edit, pause or resume the ride from Recurring rides in your account. If the ride receives no bookings for three consecutive weeks, it is paused automatically, and you can resume it at any time.

    CarYatri does not process or hold payments. If the driver has added a UPI QR code, the app opens your UPI app with the driver's details filled in, and you confirm the payment yourself. Please do not make payments through links shared outside the app.

    Yes. Drivers can add stop cities along their route when publishing a ride, and passengers searching from or to those cities will see it in their results.

    Members can verify their email, mobile number and ID (Aadhaar or Driving Licence) to receive a verified badge, and each profile shows ratings and reviews from previous rides. You can also report a ride or a member from within the app.

    CarYatri is currently available on Android through Google Play. An iOS version is in development.
